Our Team

Kalli Wolf

Kalli Wolf moved from Arizona to Chicago a handful of years ago to pursue her passions in marketing and communications. By day she works for an advertising agency, and by night she can be found blasting The White Stripes or The Kinks. She got her start in music production as DJ Ginger Wolf, hosting a weekly radio rock show called "Excuse My French", where she broadcasted her favorite tunes to listeners in Tucson, AZ.

Michael Blocher

Michael Blocher is a longtime music lover, who, if pressed, will choose the Phil Collins-led Genesis years. He plays the drums, and has been indoctrinating his children into loving Led Zeppelin since their birth. He feels that Harry Nilsson is criminally underrated, and that John Lennon is wildly overrated. His first concert was Huey Lewis & the News, and Curtis Mayfield is his muse. He prays to Herbie Hancock before bed every night.

Max McKenna

Max McKenna is a writer, editor, and musician who spent much of his formative years listening to the same classic rock station in his small hometown in South Jersey. He likes to take a literary approach to pop and rock music, likely a result of having had to memorize lyrics by the bard of the Garden State, Bruce Springsteen.

Joe Rosenthal

Joe Rosenthal has been a music fan since he was a young child stealing his dad’s vinyl and playing them on his plastic clown record player. Over the years, he’s been fortunate to have held numerous jobs in the music business – from music journalist for Rolling Stone to content director for one of the country’s largest broadcasters to helping launch several music start-ups. He was a college radio DJ for 3 years, and plays guitar when his kids are asleep.
